1. Summary: Zero Personal Data Collection

Aya does not collect, sell, rent, or share any personal information. You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide an email address to use the application.

2. Local Storage on Your Device

All personal preferences and app state are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This includes:

• Your listening history and recently played Surahs/Ayahs.
• Your customized loop settings (repeat count, playback speed, delay between verses).
• Locally cached audio files to enable smooth looping without re-downloading.

None of this information is ever uploaded or synchronized to any external server.

3. Network Requests & Third-Party APIs

To provide Quran recitations and verse text, Aya communicates with public CDNs and APIs:

• Audio Content: Recitations are streamed from public servers (such as EveryAyah and QuranicAudio). Standard HTTP requests are made to fetch audio files.
• Verse Text: Arabic script and English translations are retrieved from public Quran APIs (such as AlQuran Cloud).

These requests contain only the verse and reciter identifier necessary to deliver the media. No user identifiers or tracking tokens are transmitted.

4. Analytics & Tracking

Aya does not utilize any third-party tracking libraries, advertising SDKs, or behavioral analytics frameworks.

5. Children's Privacy

Aya contains no objectionable content and is suitable for users of all ages. Because we do not collect personal data from any user, we comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
